Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre Concerts

No summer in Denver is complete without at least one — or two, or five — trips to the awe-inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre , just 15 miles from downtown Denver. More than 70 million years in the making, the 9,450-seat venue is flanked by enormous 300-foot red sandstone rock formations and always boasts a star-studded musical schedule.

Music Festivals

Colorado Music Festival – 2025 Concert Season

WHEN: July 3–Aug. 3, 2025
WHERE: Chautauqua Auditorium, Boulder
The Colorado Music Festival brings magnificent music right to the heart of Colorado. Under the guidance of renowned conductor Peter Oundjian, the festival fills the summer with uplifting evenings in Boulder’s historic, all-wood Chautauqua Auditorium. This year’s highlights include performances by pianist Hélène Grimaud, violinist Anne Akiko Meyers, and classical guitarist Xuefei Yang; the world premiere of a new saxophone concerto by Joan Tower; a multi-concert celebration of Ravel’s 150th birthday; and more, all with the help of the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra and some of the world’s most accomplished soloists.

Punk In The Park

WHEN: July 18–20, 2025
WHERE: National Western Center
Punk In The Park Denver will feature three full days of music from more than 40 bands on two stages, with no overlapping set times. See punk rock legends like Bad Religion, Descendents, Dropkick Murphys, Pennywise, Streetlight Manifesto, Screeching Weasel, Circle Jerks, The Adicts, Propagandhi, The Aquabats, Strung Out, 7 Seconds, The Casualties, Mad Caddies, The Real McKenzies, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mustard Plug, Guttermouth and more. The festival will also feature craft beer tastings from Noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Underground Music Showcase 2025

Get ready for three days and 200+ musical performances across multiple outdoor stages and more than a dozen indoor music venues. Showcasing the best of Discovery talent, Denver’s festival fashion, Broadway street culture, tasty bites, Underground Parties, vibrant bars, an inclusive sober scene, and a strong sense of community, UMS is truly the best weekend in Denver. Established in 2001, the Underground Music Showcase is Denver’s longest-running and largest music festival.

The City Park Bandstand and Pavilion turns into a swinging, open-air jazz club on Sundays from June to August from 6–8 p.m., as music lovers of all ages congregate for City Park Jazz. Swallow Hill Summer Concerts at Four Mile Historic Park

Head to the Swallow Hill Summer Concerts at Four Mile Historic Park on select Wednesday evenings for shows that begin at 6:30 p.m. (doors 5:30 p.m.). This summer tradition has been going on for two decades! Coolers with outside food and drink are allowed, but outside alcohol will be prohibited. There will be a full bar on-site. Special pricing for Swallow Hill and Four Mile members; half-priced tickets for children ages 4 to 12; children 3 and under are free.

This free concert series is sure to be a highlight of the Highlands Ranch summer!
